Best Buy has the S4 for $49 right now, worth the switch from iPhone 4S?

Contract is up and ready to leave the Apple bullshite behind. This or Nexus? $49 is a pretty good deal on an S4 right?

Get the S4 and throw on the GPE rom. I'm not well versed in Android so the wording could be wrong.

Like the S4 but I'd get the nexus. If availability or $$ matters, get the S4 I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Get the hell off contract service while you can, and get a Nexus 4 or 5. You will get your money back in a hurry using Straight Talk or a similar prepaid plan.

S4 is better than the nexus. I have an S4 and my gf just got a nexus 5. You won't go wrong either way, but the speaker and camera is weak on the nexus.

I would def go Nexus 5 and lose the contract. Better phone than the S4 and you will pay less in the next 2 years.

If you do decide to do this make sure you log off imessaging on your iphone. If not, you will not be able to get texts from people with iphones which is the majority of people (that I know at least)

I did this a few weeks ago. Definitely worth it if you don't mind tinkering to get everything set right. Took a while to get used to it, but I am so glad I switched now. Also, they had an issue printing out my pickup receipt, and then a week or 2 later best buy refunded me the money so I got the phone for free haha (and traded the 4s into microsoft store for $200 microsoft credit, got a surface 2)

Actually, your texting will be fricked up for a few weeks regardless. I logged off/disabled imessages 4 days before I got the S4 and several people with iPhones still had trouble sending regular texts until recently.

Just got the N5 from an S3. The camera may not be "as good" (whatever that means, I don't use the damn thing) but the software on it makes it worth every penny. Best UI I've ever had on a phone hands down, all with no contract. My bro has had an S4 for a few months and he hates it.

S4 is an older phone now. I'd go Moto X, but if you do get the S4, root it and put the google edition rom or cyanogenmod on it.

I had trouble after upgrading from my old phone at a S4 at Best Buy. But that was because the genius at Best Buy removed my texting from my plan.
So be aware that the wonderful people at Best Buy might screw your plan up to where you'll have to go to your provider to fix your service. Just FYI.
