Like others said AVOID SMITH PROPERTIES at all costs!!

Find a rent house, I know in my neighborhood which is less than a mile north of SLU there are a few. It is mostly older people tho which keeps it quiet.

Darryl Smith! Is that dude still in the property renting business? I used to write checks to him in the mid ninties.

Windrush trace

10 minutes from campus. 750 for a 3 bedroom

They nickel and dime you a little on utilities though. Probably my only complaint.

What are you looking for in an apartment? I ask this for a reason.

My grandparents built an apartment complex down Whitmar dr. It's one of the cheaper ones, 1 or 2 bedrooms. However they don't allow for big parties, loud music, etc.

They also have several mentioned as well that is more aim at college students. Also, if you are going to Selu, you could also look a little outside the city too.

What about the Apartments next to Cate Square? They've changed names so many times I don't know what they are now. Or the Ritz apartments? Well those may be Daryl Smith properties so yeah, that guy is a slum lord.

The apartments in Hammond are HORRIBLE.

The ones in the older building that burned down a few years ago may not be Smith properties but the big blue ones right by the park are Smith.

Are those the ones that are like a block away from downtown?

Thats where i tried to get into but they told me you have to be a senior to rent there. Probably a good thing, id have failed and been broke if i were walking distance to downtown hamtown

Crystal Lake Apartments

Website may be old, but really nice people, nice quiet area, great 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. The owners are always around and available if there is a problem.

Yes, and he will dick you out of every single penny he can. He threatened to take me to court after a hurricane broke a window in my unit. I said knock yourself out buddy, I have a lawyer on standby at all times--aka mom

Sorry for the false alarm.

I think you're talking about the ones by pj's? I'm talking about the ones directly across the park from the big blue ones.

Also once again....screw daryl Smith properties
