Was planning on donating to them tonight online. Are they like most other food banks where they are super efficient on their budget?

Are they operating in the same location or moved to a temporary facility?

That I don't know.

Edit: from their website

We are now able to accept nonperishable food donations at a temporary location, 13112 S. Choctaw, Baton Rouge. .

I know this is a great place to donate. They can feed lots of people even with a small monetary donation.

This is more beneficial to them than dropping off food items.

If I wasn't so tired I would find the information on how efficient they are.

Speaking of, I saw pics of their warehouse and was wandering if the food on pallets above the water line is being tossed or distibuted.. Just a thought that popped up

Ok, I and the b/f just donated. Yeah I'm sure they are like the one here in Mobile. I remember a few years ago on their site they had a statement where they could buy a ton of food for around $600. Even a kick butt shopper like myself can't even touch that kind of buying power! I know a lot of people don't mind physically donating food in person, but from all the years I have helped out the one here in Mobile, I learned a financial donation is best and can be used wherever they need it.
