Bathroom etiquette: unisex with a urinal and a stall

Saw one like this today. There was a sign asking people to lock the door.

If it's unisex, I probably lock the door. It's awkward if you're taking a shite and there's a woman standing outside the stall waiting her turn.

If it's a men's room, of course I don't lock the door. They might need to use the urinal.

So if this is a men's bathroom with a single toilet and a single urinal, with no partitions or stalls, the door is getting locked.

I hope everyone does this. I don't want to walk in on some old dude taking a shite because there is a urinal that is free.
