As a person invested in $PENN (barstool) I wish Portnoy will just stfu already. I’m on his side but he needs put his ego aside and let this blow over. His last few IG post make him sound insecure AF.

My reasons for believing Dave:

1) he has DMs from one girl after the fact still flirting with him.

2) There is a police report written up about the second girl which proves her version of the story in that article is not truthful.

3) Dave has DMs from many people telling him that a reporter is asking questions about him and is getting irritated when they won't talk shite about Dave. One girl even told Dave that the reporter basically told her that she did get abused and she just doesn't realize it....Excuse me, what?

4) This is more of me putting things together but people aren't predators once or twice. Either they hurt people against their will or they don't. Bill Cosby for instance raped TONS of women and they all came flooding out to tell their stories. If this reporter LOOKED for dirt on Dave for close to a year and only came away with 2 women with questionable stories then I think that its more likely that these women were consensual at the time and later regretted their decisions.

5) This isn't evidence but its shady af to me. BI hired the freelance reporter the week after the story hit. To me this says "If you want a job here, you need to write a story to take down Dave." She wanted the job so she wrote the story by any means necessary.

This could be a preemptive move in defense of a lawsuit. I believe that Insider feels that they are better protected if she works for them.

Haven’t been able to follow this, but it doesn’t seem to be blowing over like I expected it to. Is Portnoy really in trouble this time? Is it a problem for Barstool as a whole or just for Portnoy, if those two are separable at all, that is.

Have a feeling we won’t learn anything new.
