I guess you could call this a successful troll because it's reached 8 pages, but it's still a bad troll because it isn't creative at all. A good troll makes you kind of chuckle when you realize you've been had, but this just makes people still hate you even after they see the joke.

This board used to be so much better.

I'm with you. There should be a room in the back of the plane, like the ball room at McDonald's and you have someone back there to watch the whiny little frickers. Sound-proof the glass and everyone wins.

This happened to me on a flight from Dulles to San Antonio a week ago. Mother was traveling with two small children. They all sat in the same row but the child across the aisle started to have a melt down because he could not sit on his mother's lap. We were getting ready to take off and they brought the plane back to the terminal and had the family disembark. All made worse because she did not speak English. It was a mess.

Sounds like you're the only baby on the plane.

I treat these rare occasions as a way to practice patience and tolerance, it's just a test. Also, I find the loud, obnoxious a-hole in a public place far more annoying.

Maybe airlines need to retrofit crying rooms on planes for bitches like you.

Calm down please.

Just because he called you out for acting like a bitch, doesn't mean he isn't calm.

Trust me the parents want nothing more than the kid to shut up too. Not only do they have to deal with the kid, they have to worry about assholes like you.

I love how people with no kids think it is so easy to control kids no matter the situation.

Reality is that even the best parents can't control their kids all the time. It's life. Yes, parents should try everything to console their kid on a flight but sometimes it just can't be done, even with bringin them to the bathroom or strangling them. You will understand this if you ever have kids.

I'm talking about 5 year olds kicking screaming and acting like little monsters and the parents just sit there.

i reserve the right to whoop your kids if you're not going to do it and i have to deal with their bullshite. i've had to stare down a kid or two who was fricking up on an international flight.

Parents, in many cases need to do a better job knowing when and where they should bring children.

An infant/toddler should never be in a bar or a restaurant that is not of the fast food or Chili's variety. Many times a sporting event also.

We've all seen moms yell at people for cursing in a bar or at a football game because there are "kids around" - that shite ain't cool.

Agreed but an airplane is not one of those places.
