Getting some estimates but came here to gather real world info! Looking to level (shore) up a 1908, 1500 sq ft home that is out 7" from front to back at 35'. Any recommendations on company and approx price? 7 piers need replacing and the worst area is in the middle about 10' from the back where the kitchen and bathroom's are located.

ETA: my pathetic attempt to convey information

I had to read this about 5 times to figure out if it was some sort of coded message.

That's very easy to read. Only thing that didn't make sense is "back middle quadrant". They doesn't work geometrically but I know what your intent is.

Ha! That does sound pretty bad! How about this, the worst area is in the middle about 10' from the back where the kitchen and bathroom's are located.

I somewhat understand what you are saying but how is someone supposed to give you an estimate with that information?

Davey Shoring has the experience and equipment, however, they are $$$ - look in the phone book for NOLA.

These guys have been doing this kinda work for a while. When I worked for the state 6 years ago, we used them to do a lot of the houses we lifted for FEMA.

alright, pretty shitty attempt on my part to get my point across.
If I have an old raised home on piers, and seven piers need replacing and all other piers are in good working order. The house needs to be raised 7" from the back to the front to be level, what do you think an approximate cost to do this would be? Only looking for ballpark from those with experience.

It's funny that the guys that understand the question write in the same style as the OP.

How do you know

Was told this after an inspection and the guy's price was very high, or I may not be educated enough on the costs associated with the work required. Anyway, I will be getting other estimates but found an old thread on here from 2008 with people commenting on the costs back then.
