We were up by Orleans and Murat, and people were driving on Orleans even up that far. I hate that shite
I think they leave the roads open in case someone HAS to get in or out, but you get people just joy riding through crowded streets all day long

It was reported none of the injuries were life threatening, but that was about 8 hours ago

No idea. I saw cops running down that way (didn't know what was going on). I didn't even find out about the truck thing until I made it to the bar around 8.

That's so crazy. I'm usually out on Orleans and Murat but opt out going this year because we had tickets to the Extravaganza. Our friends who road on float 28 said they just past the spot when it happened. I hope everyone pulls through and the city really needs to shut down both sides or the roads during and after parades. This includes St Charles and Canal.

I can't even imagine seeing that happen from a float. Crazy shite, all done by some dumb drunk kid who initially bumped a car and tried to run
