Help me explain how your truck, which allegedly is not able to turn into a parking spot without having to adjust, is somehow able to turn out of that same parking spot with no problem? The turning radius of your truck doesn't magically get smaller when you're pulling out of a parking spot.

if backed in turning wheels are out of the space immediately

is this so hard to comprehend?

And? The problem that everyone is saying they avoid by backing into a spot is encountered when pulling out, so you're not avoiding it at all, just doing it later.

Is that so hard to grasp?

I do when I'm in a car. It sucks something fierce backing out of a parking spot wedged between two massive trucks/SUVs when you're unable to see what's coming at all. At least I can inch out and see when I back in.

Your vision is impaired when backing out of a spot. It is not when backing in.

So when pulling out forward you are more aware of your surroundings, as in cars driving by your spot.

It's really pretty simple.

Plus, you can in fact make sharper turns when the turning wheels are trailing.

Backup baws and them somehow thinking its safer will defend this to the end.

This true, my company asks us to do this for work cars. Mainly because I have been involved in two fender benders when I backed up in hosptalparking lot

Yeah. I know. That principle applies when backing out of a parking spot too.

The fact that you're missing the point that the turning wheels are trailing and leading one time each whether you back in or pull in forward is literally astounding to me. Unless of course you believe that you're somehow able to have the wheels that turn be in back while both pulling into and out of a parking spot. In which case I want to know what you're driving.

I personally believe it's both quicker and easier to back out into a larger space, like the row of a parking lot, than it is to back into a 10 foot wide space with cars on either side and a curb.

Yep. With how many terrible drivers there are out there backing into a narrow spot with vehicles on each side can be dangerous.

I almost never back into a spot. I just reverse out of the spot cautiously. It has never been a problem.

And you back out slowly so as to be able to see anyone coming and/or give them time to stop.

And who rolls without a backup camera these days? Is this Russia Danny?

You've made absolutely zero points that make sense thus far. You fail to realize that you must a) pull into a spot, and b) pull out of a spot.

You face the same situations/challenges whether you back in or pull in forward. It's just the order you face them that is different. And that is actually a fact.

I've noticed it too. Doesn't matter if it's 7:50 and a line of cars. Your arse is waiting for them to readjust 7 times to back in.

Its that plant mentality. Their safety manager said some BS stats that prove its safer.

I did admit though that there were three reasons I accepted

1) Harder to run my plates because I'm wanted in multiple states

2) Quicker to take off if needed (see #1)

3) Don't frick with my truck nuts

So I kind of get it for those reasons.
