I think it really comes down to the kind of trip you want to have. I learned in college that ski trips with people that want to get trashed every night kind of suck since you paid all that money to go skiing and wake up hung over as balls every morning trying to get out and ski. I really only go on ski trips now with people that really want to ski hard each day. Maybe hit a bar or two coming off of the mountain, but still in bed by 11 or so so that we aren't wasting the ski day.
Do yall rub each other's assholes at night too??
What a gay.
Every year we go, we stop halfway up the mountain. Pound some bloody mary's and beer, take lift all the way to the top and snowboard down to bottom and repeat. Greatly enhances my ability to go off jumps and not piss down my leg.

Went to one in Breckenridge that was awesome. Would be my choice for a B party over Vegas or NOLA.
No love for Biloxi?

Eh, you can stay close to the slopes and a ~10 minute walk to bars. I always enjoyed the walk in the snow to go to main st. Me and the bros usually stay close to the snowflake lift and it's great.
That being said I recommend renting an SUV anyway. It will probably be cheaper than paying 80/person for a shuttle and you can drive around and get groceries, and also go to other resorts if your pass lets you
However Tahoe seems better for bachelor party. Have you looked at flying into Sacramento?

Worse B party I've been to and I've been to a couple in Houston.

No didn't even consider it.
Flights are a bit better, and about 40 dollars cheaper or so. But the drive is about a half hour longer it appears. Pretty good option.

Some of us can afford more, but we are trying to keep it reasonable for the others.

I literally just go back from doing a bachelor party in Aspen. Obviously, this would be a completely different time of year, but I will go on record saying that I was completely blown away by how young and energetic the scene was.
I was fully expecting a bunch of old people with some young professionals scattered about, but I'll be damned if the majority of people we saw weren't younger than 35.

Tahoe, definitely
Not sure why you're coming up with an extra 5-6 hrs travel time. I have left NO around 6:30 and landed in Reno around 10:30a on multiple occasions. I take the transfer bus, check in hotel, and am on the slopes skiing for 1:30-2p

I did Breck for 4 years in college.. The "college ski week" that was always the first week in January.
Breck isnt conducive to drinking your arse off, partying type crowd. The "party bar" scene is nonexistent, and the locals don't take too kindly to wild out of towners, in my experiences.
However, if you're more content with skiing, drinking and relaxing in the room/hot tub, it's a good spot. We stayed at a ski in/ski out and was also within walking distance to main street if you don't mind walking like .5 mile, at most.

Yeah...no.
I'm not finding those flights at all.

Breckinridge or park city. Tahoe is heavy on the teenage stoner snowboard crowd. Casinos are more like Baton Rouge riverboat than Vegas or even Biloxi. Nightlife isn't much better than Breckinridge unless you wanna drive a good ways to a brothel.

Strippers/hookers and blow. No matter where you go, you can't lose.
