Your best option is to google wildlife rehabilitators in the BR area, there are plenty of them. They will come pick it up. Or as another poster said take it to the LSU vet school. Don't follow Walt's advice, he's a sick puppy.

Call around.Someone would love to rescue that Hawk.
Some Poster on the Outdoor Board has one that takes out and it kills rabbits,quail,etc.,and lets him have it in exchange for a piece of meat.

LSU has a raptor rehab program, or used to. I have the contact info of a guy who rehabs and trains birds. It's actually not very common to find them
Call someone from the linked list or LSU raptor rehab and you should get a positive response.
