My guess is she'll get a state appointed attorney who had no. Voice in the matter and will put in a very minimal amount of work for her. It's stories like this that make me miss my previous gig of helping to hammer these types of parents to the basement floor.

How does a 5 month old (that isn't walking yet)fall hard enough to break 12 bones??
If the mother had any sort of plausible explanation for the injuries she would have been investigated first before arrested. The fact that she was arrested so quickly shows the xrays showed blatent proof that abuse(whether from her or someone else) had occurred.

Stuff like this just always makes me angry. Hopefully that poor baby will at least be placed with a foster family that can give the baby the love and care it so deserves. Maybe the kid will get lucky and all parental rights stripped from the mother so the kid can be adopted.

Same here, my first born was extreme premature, caught a candidas infection and died in a week so these types of stories get to me.
