How? Hasn't her family been here for several generations. Her forefathers adapted to a new cultural identity which was later passed down. Even European immigrants did this when they assimilated with communities of people that had different backgrounds. Hell Irish and Polish people never saw any type of so called "white privilege" when they came here.

There have been movements within the AA community to return to traditional African customs. Why not promote that instead of acting like you were somehow deprived? White people certainly aren't preventing anyone from doing this.

I like how i'm as a white American supposed to be sorry for what my ancestors centuries ago did, and she is somehow supposed to feel the effects of what her ancestors endured. I bet her ancestors would be pissed as shite at her for being so damn ungrateful. She lives in a free arse country, and no one alive is responsible for where this country started from. How terribly unaware and uninformed can she be? She's likely never had any legitimate history lessons in her entire life.
