As long as they are being civil (and not slowing down traffic while I'm in it), it's not a huge deal, but the moment they start burning shite or harassing motorists, I hope they get plowed over.

In NOLA proper, whites and blacks have lived in close proximity for a very long time. It isn't the same as many other places. There are tensions, of course, but no where close to most other cities.
