Can I get some help over here? I tried running this jibberish through Google translate and it told me "Guido Jersey shore trash, by the way not white"
Thanks. I may now qualify for a job based on my "non-whiteness."
You must be German?

Can you show me where they did not do that to each other long before evil Europeans got here?
It was all peace with unicorns etc right?
Aztec, Mayans sacrifice of their enemies, North American tribes enslaving other tribes, skinning enemies alive and butchering the bodies of their enemies so they do not enter the next life in 1 piece?
Yeah, it was all a Utopian dream before Europeans got here.
Did I say it was fricking perfect before him? My response was just to the poster asking what Columbus did wrong.

So this excuses Columbus being a shitty person? His own people didn't like him.
I don't give two shits what the holiday is named so long as it's a holiday but Columbus wasn't a good person at all.

Most of our "heroes" and people who are credited with doing good things also did some bad things. We are human. We are not Gods.
MLK loved the women but I respect what he peacefully did to bring a needed change. Should we tear down his statues because he was an adulterer who used women?
Celebrating Columbus...well yeah, he did some bad things. But to have an Indigenous Day instead is PC idiocy.
BTW, don't the Progressive's justify their alliance with Islamic Radicalism as in killing Gays and stoning women as, "well it's their culture and we shouldn't judge them."?
Well in Columbus's time, the culture was different. This was also the time Spain was fighting the Islamic invaders and removing them from Iberia.

Did you not read the part where I said he was a tyrant? He was removed as governor and even imprisoned for a period of time.

According to the report, Columbus once punished a man found guilty of stealing corn by having his ears and nose cut off and then selling him into slavery. Testimony recorded in the report claims that Columbus congratulated his brother Bartolomeo on "defending the family" when the latter ordered a woman paraded naked through the streets and then had her tongue cut out for suggesting that Columbus was of lowly birth.[84] The document also describes how Columbus put down native unrest and revolt; he first ordered a brutal crackdown in which many natives were killed and then paraded their dismembered bodies through the streets in an attempt to discourage further rebellion.[85] "Columbus's government was characterised by a form of tyranny," Consuelo Varela, a Spanish historian who has seen the document, told journalists.[84] "Even those who loved him had to admit the atrocities that had taken place.
Him being being an absolute piece of shite has nothing to do with culture.

He did way more than "some" bad things. Once again I couldn't care less what the holiday is called so as long as it's a holiday.

Columbus wasn't an American (obviously) and wasnt the first to discover America either. Why do we need a federal holiday commemorating him again? It's a holiday for a foreigner whose reputed achievement is dubious at best. leaving aside whatever his crimes were, it's just asinine to have a day for him.

Well, let's have a Leif Erikson day then?
How about this:

Evidence shows stone age Europeans here prior to the Asian migration.
Maybe the "indigenous people" killed off the original founders of the New World?
Is that PC though?
Let's have an American Day that celebrates where we are today and for all of the MANY good things we have done for this world from the people of ALL ethnicities that are here and have contributed.

The frick is this even mean? Columbus was the first American, you dumb bitch. That's why 9/11 want just an attack on us, it was a false flag against Columbus himself. But you can't melt Columbus with jet fuel, the truth is getting out there despite your Muslim propaganda hormone milk bullshite.
I'll debate you at sonic right now, you little bitch.

Why have a holiday at all? Let government bureaucrats go to work like the rest of us.

Well I don't work for a bank or the government, and I'm off. Happy Indigenous Peoples' day, bestbank.
