AT&T fires president over racist images sent over his phone

He asked her to transfer the data to a new phone which is how she found the pictures. Not sure how the data transfer works, surely not go through this phone item by item and text it to this other phone...? If it is a more streamlined process than that, why was she digging through his stuff?
Dumb move on his part though, both is sending the pictures through a work phone and then giving this lady access.

I have had that sent to me by black friends and have black friends in group emails that gave no fricks when white people have sent it FWIW
Its with an "as" not "ers" and the picture of that kid getting down with a dance move and a smile on his face is pretty funny.

Even if it didnt impact him doing his job in anyway? People shouldn't get fired from work for texts they send to friends on their personal time, unless its like child porn or "I'm going to blow up the office"

Company HAD to fire him over that after it went public (from lady) because of the social landscape of the country now and the threat of pissing off half their customer base.
The lady did not have to go public or sue him for $100 million. She clearly is the piece of shite here.

Well, when your business is a phone company, and you use said phone to send shite you shouldn't, I don't mind them getting canned in that instance.
I haven't seen the photo honestly, that's why I originally responded if it's truly racist.
