you're not a made a nuisance for all time by taking up valuable real estate space.

Admittedly, ground burial can be somewhat artistic even while a bit irresponsible, but internment in one of those popular tenement-style mausoleum drawers is downright grotesque.

I'm not saying all this just to be mean... but to gracefully improve the future aesthetics of our country and planet.

i made the decision to be cremated a long time ago but for none of the reasons you mention.

I understand we put chemicals into the body, but they still decompose and provide nutrients to plants and various other plant life, whereas burning the body takes a high degree of heat which doesn't magically just appear, it has to be transformed from another energy source.

When I suggested that we cremate my dad, my stepmother told me that he'd go to hell if she did that. I chuckled and walked out of the room.
