When the casino first opened up in downtown st.louis, the baccarat table would have a full table and about 30-40 Asians watching. It was crazy, it was like a sporting event inside a casino. Yelling, cheering, cursing in their native tongue when they get screwd.
shite was cool to watch.
oh it's a trip when it gets going
it takes the right mix of rich houstonites and lower class locals to really get it going

I'm always the only white person at a Baccarat table. All Asians.
earlier this month i was playing poker and the table was all asians and me and they were straight up coordinating and fricking with me in hands. apparently at LDL in LC it's not "English only". i rolled with it and eventually, somehow, i earned their respect and later on (table demos had changed at this point) when i took a really bad beat from an idiot (white guy) like 3-4 of them got up and started yelling at him for playing that hand that way

Yea man, at the boats in Mississippi I would see Vietnamese dudes wearing shorts, tank tops, and flip flops, betting five thousand dollars a hand at black jack. They love to gamble.

All I know is that when things are rolling in blackjack, they roll in that azn black widow dealer and she always kills the mojo.
I sat down alone at a $10 table in the Beau and played heads up against the dealer and won $600 in an hour and a half a couple months ago. I figured she was paying me back a little of what her friends always take from me

Now that you mention it, I have seen a large contingent of Asians playing cash games in one of the poker rooms in Blackhawk...super early in the morning.

I think I remember reading that Wynn built the Venetian with attracting high roller Asian players in mind. He specifically hired Asian cocktail waitresses to cater to his clientele.

as an asian, more specifically vietnamese, my people love to gamble.
except my actual parents, their motto is casinos will never 'steal' their hard earned money.
My aunt/uncles from out of town on the other hand, when they visit?? This is their schedule. Sometimes add on the monday and you can see where its going. I'm talking thousands per night...I went when I first turned 21. it is ridiculous.
Friday afternoon - arrive at airport
friday evening - eats dinner at my house
after dinner - heads to harrahs or boomtown
saturday at 2-3 AM - comes home to sleep
saturday at 7AM - gets ready for wedding, mass, etc
saturday evening - wedding reception
after reception - back to casino
sunday at 2-3 AM again -comes home to sleep
Sunday at 7AM - gets ready for sunday mass
Sunday at noon - lunch with family
Sunday afternoon - gamble more
Sunday evening - flight home

Asian countries have secure borders and don't have an illegal immigration problem their taxpayers are saddled with, so they have money to gamble.

Just stayed last week at margaritaville and was contemplating this very thing. Got up at 5 o'clock one morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So, I head down to get some coffee and sure enough, Asians everywhere. Crowded around the blackjack tables filled to capacity.

Casinos do all sorts of stuff to court the Asian market....even the places in Biloxi. You'll see ads in the lobby for these variety shows, written all in Vietnamese.

Playing poker right now. Every table has at least one asian (one female). Three of them are playing open face Chinese poker on their phones when not in hands.

There's a reason Macau generates much more revenue than Vegas.
