How do you get that fricked up before 7:30am? Did she set an alarm at 2:00am to start pounding vodka?

She knows what Sunday Funday means.

Sent her home drunk, nobody even offered a ride home?

She taught my daughter at Dutchtown Primary. That's not her best picture to say the least. I think she is dealing with some health issues (well other than the dui). I hope she gets things straightened out.

I hope she does too. I wonder, if the school sent her home for being drunk could there be liablity issues for the school?

Probably not but it was shitty on their part for not letting her sleep somewhere then dismiss her.

What if the school told her she had to leave the campus and they would arange transportation, but she jumped in her car and left? No liability.

Can the school be liable for sending her home knowing she was drunk as Cooter Brown?

I'm not a lawyer but I don't see why the school would be liable, they didn't get her drunk. Are you liable if your friend leaves your house drunk and gets a DWI?

You bet your arse if she would have killed someone after the her employer told her to leave because she was drunk, they would get sued and I would be willing to bet it gets to a jury under those facts. That is piss poor judgment by the school knowing she's drunk and letting her drive away, assuming those are the facts.

This. Expect the person/people in the car she hit to sue the school if they really just, "go home".

Geez, I guess my posts aren't readable. What if the school said they would arrange tranportation and she took off? What if the school told her to stay put and she could sleep it off, but she booked it out of there. Obviously no one knows what happened at this point. Unless everyone posting certainties has some inside info, which is unlikely.
