Ascension Parish deserves better than what we are getting. Black eyes are not what Ascension Parish needs. We have many good employees in parish government, but we can also now see that many are employed simply for a political payback. This must stop. Even before this shameful behavior was brought to light, several on the council were pushing to develop hiring protocols, job descriptions, qualification standards and best practices. Our parish must be run like a company, not a banana republic.

So the dog story is true. I heard that Kenny paid someone so this would not be fully prosecuted.

I can name several places to put that surplus... Pretty much 933, Henderson Bayou, Norwood, etc needs to be redone. Could name several other roads including Hwy 30, etc.

Perfectly fine with that. I'm opposed to a tax increase when we have a surplus. Not to mention how much is being squandered away on pork projects. My property taxes increased over 300% between 2013 and 2014. That was just on my lot. Finished building and my house went on the tax rolls 1/1/16. My property taxes this year, after exemption, will be $4,200....

Clint wasn't that much better of a choice. His father Willard is old Ascension just like Kenny. Clint was propped up by the same old guard. You probably wouldn't have the open corruption like this, but things wouldn't have been much different inote terms of how things got done.
