He should just resign before he gets indicted. Plus, He should have come up with more money and maybe Lawson wouldn't have exposed him. $1200 is laughable.

Chris Loar, his opponent, seems like a real good guy. He was pretty good on the council. Hopefully, he will run next time again. Frankly, I would not be shocked if Matassa has his hands in the election results.

I just listened to some of the tapes. Those dudes are screwed.
This conversation just reeks of conspiracy...the one woman saying "you can have this (envelope of money) after you do this (sign affidavit of withdrawal).
