It looks lame as shite. Especially when worn with no t-shirt underneath, and shorts (likely the mid-thigh style I spoke of earlier) and boat shoes. Collars should never -- I repeat NEVER -- be buttoned at the tips. There are plenty of nice dress shirts you can buy without the buttons. Only frat boys wear that shite and think it looks good. Sorry, but that's the truth. Trust me, I know, because I used to dress like that in college. Makes me want to travel back in time and put a bullet in my head.

So this look is douchey?

That just looks like casual business attire. I'm really starting to think you have no idea what you're talking about. What do you do for a living and how old are you?

No, just no. It is absolutely perfectly acceptable for anyone and any style to button the collar on shirts that have them.

There are and they're meant to be worn with ties. Why on earth would someone wear a spread collar shirt with collar stays and not a tie?

Sounds like the "vast vast majority of guys" ARE douches. Do you really need to wear that ridiculous clown get-up in order to get laid? What does that say about you? What does it say about the materialistic dumbass cumdumpsters you're chasing?

Real women want a real man, not a preening peacock with earrings, frosted hair, and that other nonsense.

Meh, hot chicks like to party. People who party like to dress a certain style, earrings, beanie, skinny jeans etc all very common.

Sorry Rickety Cricket, we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. Go out in South Beach or on Sunset and see how many guys are rocking button-up polos w/ buttoned tips. There are plenty, though, without the buttoned tips and sans ties.

But hey -- wear whatever the hell you want. To each his own.

The business/business-casual environment and what you wear out in South Beach are two completely different things. That statement tells me everything I need to know about you and your take on fashion.

OK well I work in a business/corporate environment, and have to wear a suit or dressy attire every day, and NONE of the men I work with ever wear the shite you talk about, except maybe the age 50+ ones who don't have anything else to wear and/or don't care about their fashion sense. Come on man, get real -- the only people that dress the way you're describing is the frat boy crowd.

You realize no one has agreed with you on that point yet, right? And I question your sincerity that NO ONE you see in the business environment wears a button down shirt with buttoned collars. But oh well.

No use arguing with him. He follows South Beach fashion and he's never seen anyone in the business environment button a collar. He's a fashion guru.

Not a bad assessment, but I'm ok with flatbill hats cause it's hard to get a curved bill right.

Add those five finger toe shoes to the list.
