Help me out here. The thug was attempting to put the girl in the vehicle but the student stopped it? The girl was left on side of road? Also, how was the girl first grabbed? Back story?

If the guy gets caught, he will be back on the street in less than two years. I'm willing to bet on it

Jesus, I used to live about 2 blocks from there on Mag, my parents live there now... used to walk that area very frequently. shite like this is why I moved to Mandeville and my parents arent far behind

what are the chances a gun jams in that situation and the guy pulling the trigger is dumb enough to be unable to clear it twice. Techs are about as simple as it gets when it comes to automatic weapons.

I know I always say this in these threads but I am SOOOOOOO glad I live in Scottsdale where we don't have criminals like that guy

Tulane University medical students take part in a "white-coat die-in" at Tulane Avenue and South Liberty Street in New Orleans Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Students from more than 50 medical schools - in New York, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Boston, Cleveland, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and elsewhere - protest the lack of indictments for police killings in Ferguson, Mo., and New York, and to spotlight racial bias as a public health issue. Now that is irony. Considering medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in this nation, it is very appropriate that a bunch of medical students stage a 'die-in'.

Because everyone is trained in Krav Maga.
You do realize that most law enforcement agencies suggest that you comply with armed assailants?

I find it funny that everyone is worried about Muslims when most large cities already have groups of people that are WAY more likely to rob, kill and rape them....but people are too pussy to admit it.

It's about the same. Pervious three years have all declined. Murder and violent crime rate at just about the lowest in decades.

I wonder if his dumbfrick classmates will hold another protest?

Bro, hammertime is hardcore. Every time he has been shot in the stomach, he leaps up and disarms all assailants. He doesn't even have to think about it either, which is what impresses me most
He's the hero we don't deserve

Yeah in places like that you get shot up in the movie theater, classroom, church, etc.

We are going to need a citation for this baw.
Good on Gold for trying to be a Good Samaritan. It really pisses me off to see someone work so hard to give back to society almost to have it all ended by a shitstain of a human being.

The key is to not get yourself in the situation. But the thugs demeanor would dictate my actions; run, fight or just comply.

Um.....if you extend your arm out with a gun pointed at me, I'm gonna grab it. Barely any chance the guy doesn't get shot in this situation. Good for the guy for stopping the kidnapping, but he should've been a little more ready for the confrontation. He should be dead, but got lucky

Looks like he thought he was about to die when he curled up. I sure would have.

Never happened here. Scottsdale has as many people as BR and we have had years with 0 and 1 murders. Sometimes we get around 10 but they are always domestic violence related. Tell me what's the difference between here and BR? Hmmmm.....
Posted on 11/20/15 at 7:10 pm to Hammertime
I'm not saying that I don't know how to disarm someone, but not everyone has been trained to do that. You can't act like everyone should just be proactive.
Heck, the guy doing what he did to that point was already more brave than most people would have done.
