Arguing with AT&T U-Verse install guy

Decided to pony up the $99 to get this shite done right and hidden with my coaxial cables. Next thing I know a hole pops up out of my wall 3' from where I want it and no longer hidden by the entertainment center
Guy claims that he can't get it in the junction box with the direct TV because he can't drill through the stud
I'm pissed and don't want this shite visible but am running out of arguing power

Why can't he drill through a stud? What installer doesn't have a cable pull drill bit?

No clue. Theres a damn outlet 4' from the ceiling that runs to the bottom. This shite is set up to fricking run it where you can't see cables

Even so, why are the only options through the stud, or 3 feet out? Studs are 3 feet wide.

He had to have drilled through something in the attic. Sounds like he drilled his hole a few inches in the wrong direction and is too lazy to go back up there and do it again to match up where you want it.
The guy that installed my DTV 2 years ago did a much shittier and lazier job than what you are describing.
