Some people can just push through about anything.

Me? I'm down for the count. Give me some 7UP, chicken noodle soup and alka seltzer and leave me alone. I'm not going to move. I'm not going to talk. I'm just going to be sick.

Fortunately, I normally bounce back pretty quick. My illnesses don't linger but they hit me hard.

I'm sick right now and have been up and coughing since 4am. I'm just waiting on the girlfriend to bring me the above supplies.

I have heard that men are worse at being sick than women. I kind of think that is true. I'm miserable when I'm sick and I don't hide it.

I usually only get sick once or twice a year, and when I do, I go fricking hard. Two days in bed, dead to the world.

I would tend to agree, but with this caveat. When I say I'm sick, it's legit. It rarely happens. Not everyone is like that. Some people will say a runny nose due to allergies is being sick, and not just females.

Never been one to get sick.

Haven't had a sick day since 2008 and had food poisoning.

I very rarely get sick but when I do I'm a straight up little bitch. Any kind of fever and you'd think I was dying.

If by being good at being sick you mean calling my uncle who is an MD and telling him my symptoms and getting the appropriate meds and then sleeping 18hr+ for 3-5 days then yes I am very good at it.

step1: go to Dr
step2: get shot
step3: get better and not make everyone else hate you and make your gf secretly plan on putting cyanide in your chicken noodle soup.

I'm terrible at it. I basically use the flu as means of weight regulation.
If I don't get it, I'm just gonna be 10lbs overweight the whole year.

I just clocked in at 8am...told co-workers I was a count-hair away from calling in.

Been fighting creeping crud all week (well, 3days really): sinuses, sore throat with touch and go fever. I NEVER call in sick but I'm fricking sick of being sick and wanna go to bed till Monday am.

So, yeah. I suck at being sick.

I kind of just deal with it unless I'm contagious

As an adult my sicknesses/colds all run the same cycle. I can tell pretty instantly when I'm going down for the count and try and plan ahead. I rarely go to the doc for it because they run course in 3-4 days.

Cough drops, nasal spray for 2.5 days, then just wait it out.

I can usually power through most things. About once a year, I get really sick and then I'm useless

Our party of 9 ate pluckers last nast and the only person who isn't sick this morning is the vegetarian.

Lost my guts from 1-2 am. Then took care of the wife and texted everyone epse until I had to come to work.

Now chugging blue monster and bottles of water.

Girlfriend insisted I go to the doctor because I've been feeling poorly for two weeks.

Walking pneumonia. I know that's a catchall phrase for any persistent respiratory infection.

Two shots in the arse.
Round of steroids.
Flonase.
Hydromet.
