Or are the oil industries just ripping us off because they can? Gas has went up $1.18 in my area the past 2 or 3 months. It's now $2.45

Too hot, too cold, too much rain, not enough rain.

Yep. My truck was purring like a kitten after I filled it up with that summer blend. Thank God the oil companies developed such an important and necessary product!

That's not how this works. Gov upping the taxes and you think it the oil companies

There is less horseshite like butane in summer grade gas. So, you're welcome.
And also...Clean Air Act.

Drive faster as the prices increase. When you get to 100 mph you'll only need to fill up once every couple of months.

We haven't hired anyone.

Didn't the govt force them to make that?

How bleak is the future of oil for Louisiana economy?
Posted on 5/18/16 at 7:30 pm to CatsGoneWild
Predown time now. Huge turnarounds coming up at 2 or three of the major refineries in the gulf south.

I work for a major and we are still laying people off and will be throughout 2016 unless prices drastically rise.

If the Oil Companies could control the price of oil, it would never get low enough to cancel projects, close plants, sell-off assets, go bankrupt, etc.
