Are people who sell It Works, Advocare, Body Wraps, etc. trashy?

I have a few friends that have become vultures with trying to sell this shite. They've pretty much turned their relationship with everyone into a business relationship.
Am I the only one who thinks these people are trashy?

You are trashy by default.

They are just trying to make extra income.

I had some family members wrapped up in Amway years ago. That shite was a legit cult

Pretty much just like that Limu crap, right?

Pyramid schemes are always trashy unless you're the top of the pyramid. Then, it's alpha up until you get shanked to death in federal "pound-me-in-the-a$$" prison.

People that fall for Pyramid schemes are just sad.
But I do like me some Spark from Advocare. That shite's legit.

I don't know about trashy, but the constant berating of their facebook friends with pics, testimonials, and worship is a little absurd. When I see someone selling that stuff via facebook, I automatically deduct IQ points from my view of them

Not sure if trashy as much as gullible and shameless.
My ex started doing all that stuff. Validated my decision about breaking up with her

Yes, MLM is invariably trashy.

I just ignore requests or invites. It doesn't bother me. People have to make a living.
I see them no differently than the hundeds of salesmen who stop by my office to talk about investments, disability insurance, etc.

Sounds like you didn't hit the mark to get that BMW lease.

Sometimes. Always annoying though

Yes. It is a legitimate business model in which all of Livingston uses to launder meth money.

Better question: how trashy are people who start threads asking if other people trashy?

If one is alive, one is trashy...
