Are men and women the same or are they different?

Women's Lib fought for equality: equal pay/opportunity. The military opened up, Wall St followed suite, and Augusta National admitted they were wrong too. But my question is this: are men and women equal? The value of a life is not the point. If Women and men are different then how are they equals?

I think that women should have the same rights to attempt things that men have, so in that yes, we're equal. Do I think that a woman can do everything a man can do? No, but I know a lot of men that can't do what a lot of other men can do too, so does that even matter? I think that men and women were made to compliment one another and work together to make life successful, and maybe if we would stop acting like this is some team sport and we're rivals all the time that would be a lot easier to accomplish. Just play to your strengths, work your arse off and don't worry about other folks so much.

I think the most basic difference is emotional...we truly think and feel in different ways...and that's the most common cause for any misunderstanding between a guy and a girl
And then...they basically want and need us to be men...want us to think like a woman...BUT if a guy does that then he's not that Man they really want. Its a biological function for survival of the species...why else would we create billions of spermies?

Men and women have the same basic human rights. Just the same as whites and Negros do. After that, women and men are different. Neither is superior...just different.

Men and women have a symbiotic relationship. We tend to be better at different types of things, and generally are physically different as well. Our species experiences sexual dimorphism, and to deny this is intellectually dishonest.
That being said, I believe that intellectually men and women are equal.

I believe men and women are very different and it seems so obvious to me that questioning this seems silly.
Does this mean that women are inferior? No.
Women and men should have the same opportunities for jobs,education,etc.- without lowering standards or having "different" standards based in sex.
Women and men obviously should be treated equally in the eyes of the law.
