I don't use either, but I'm considering one of them.

Do they both do the same thing pretty much? If not, what's the difference?

Which one's better, or is it just a matter of preference?

Do they cost about the same?

(please move to the Tech. or Music board if it belongs there...couldn't figure out where this should be posted)

I don't know about apple but Spotify is great. I probably use it 2-3 hours a day.

Also they don't really advertise it but it's only 5 a month if you have a student email

With Spotify Premium can I download whatever music I want and as much as I want to my iPhone to play offline?

What happens if I download a shitload of stuff to my phone to play offline and then cancel my account? Or can you just save playlists in the spotify account to play offline?

When I'm home I literally use Spotify 24 hours a day over my Sonos.

the rain ambient sleep music is money and then downbeat chill ambient music for work

Are you a student? If so Spotify is $5 a month. If not it's $10.

At this point there really is no difference between the different streaming services. The all have basically the same catalogs and cost the same.

Yeah, you can download as many songs as your phone will hold. Also you can stream them from your phone without downloading them but it will burn up data if you're not connected to wifi.

You will lose the songs if you cancel your account.

You can save playlists to play offline. Stop asking questions and fricking download it already and you'll figure it out.
