I do not get the history element to about the Confederate flag. Besides it being a good looking flag. I had family members that fought in the war but it does nothing for me to fly it. A large part of our society rightfully sees it as representation of slavery and segregation; how is it possible to move past it when some what to relive it?
Maybe i just associate it with ignorance now because the only people i see flying it still are white trash as frick.

I've never flown a confederate flag but a black panther member could fly his black panther flag across the street and it wouldn't phase me. I'd have a nicer yard.
