Apologetic Georgia principal blames ‘the devil’ for racial remark

In a fleeting moment of frustration, “the devil” — and not deep-seated racial prejudice — prompted a Georgia high school principal to make racial remarks at a graduation ceremony on Friday. That’s according to TNT Academy Principal Nancy Gordeuk, who has stepped forward to apologize after she was captured on cellphone video condemning people for leaving early by saying: “Look who’s leaving … all the black people.” Gordeuk’s comments sparked an immediate uproar, with people in the crowd angrily approaching the podium and exiting the ceremony in protest. On social media, the comments provoked even more outrage as people all over the country called for her resignation.

Wait? I thought God was the one that talked bad about black people in the Bible?

I don't think it was racist.
I mean, were all the black people leaving? If so, it was just an observation.

At least the article correctly labels it a racial remark instead of a racist one.

And she might get away with it, too.
Mention jeebus and all is forgiven. What a racket.

I think that lady is batshit crazy (so is the school and the graduation, look it up), but I think this is mischaracterizing what she said.
My take was that she let something slip out, as in, the bad side of her came through, not that it was actually some religious excuse for her behavior.
That whole story is bizarre.

Anyways, isn't this normal. Do something wrong and blame it on a "higher power". The Cannibal Cop did the exact same thing and he got off.

I didn't have time to read the article. Did the principal call the devil "red" or something?

just have to train yourself to say some other term instead of "(insert race) people"

Why did the "black people" leave anyway? Her son is a f'ing idiot FWIW - wanker whitey talking smack to people on FB in defense of his mom who used poor judgement. One thing to defend your mom, but another entirely different matter when you're saying "come say that shite to my face *igger!"
Some people are terrible for our gene pool and this is a good example.

That's a given, it was a completely and utterly stupid thing to say. That doesn't mean it's racist though. I feel like nowadays, if you even mention "black people" in ANY context other than lavish praise, it's racist.
