Will be there for work this week. Pretty much every night will be free. What are some good options? Any good music? What sports bars are good to go watch MLB playoffs/NFL/CFB?

TIA

Yeah, weather has been awesome will be great for some patio drinking this week. Cougars play SMU Thursday night. Petrol Station, Karbach, etc for beer.

I'll be hitting up the Brash Brewery opening Saturday, but you have to have ticket for it and it is sold out

Depends on where you are located for work. I went grab drinks with guys from work the other day and the drive time was equal to me getting drinks in NOLA and live in BR. Houston is a very general description.

Do you have a fast car? You could always go to "Mexico" and get in on some street racing action.

I'll be around the medical center? Looks like the bottom area of the loop? Says I'm 20 mins from Minute Maid.

I'm right around the corner from the Texans stadium and astrodome. Anything worth doing over here or should I venture out? If so, where?

If you like women in their 20's, then take the train towards downtown and get off at McGowan. Drinks all around midtown. If you're white go to gaslamp. If not white they won't let you in.

You can also get drinks in Rice Village, but lets be honest....Rice people are weird.

Thursday you'll be right there for the Texans game, but lets be honest.

Take brewery tours at St. Arnolds, Karbach, and 8th wonder. Most cool local undewshy bars are Heights area. But West Alabama ice House is pretty cool.

Harris county has a $20 bounty on Mexican scalps. Make sure they're not El Salvadorian or Hondurans though. Jail time!
