Talk about how beautiful it is until you realize there isn't anything to do there.

Take a short drive to Ferriday; get stabbed and left for dead.

natchez is a cool place, but it is also a very small town...so you are not going to find a lot of entertainment venues like you would in a larger city.

I would recommend you tour the winery...I think it is called "Old South" winery or something like that.

Find and read the historical marker called "Forks of the Road"...it will make you a little uncomfortable, but it is one hell of a historical site.

eat at Roux 61...damn good food.

They put more candy in blizzards than any other Dairy Queen. I think they have a bigger scooper.

Just hit Bowies Tavern and the Corner Bar. Drink and chill.

After you get buzzed, take the carriage ride.

Then go to Fat Mama's for Knock you naked margaritas.

I was just there over Easter and stayed at the Grand Hotel which was fine. There not too much too do but its a cool place to just relax and watch the river flow. It a throw back in history to visit a few antebellum homes, the cemetary, the catheral and there NP muesuem on State St thats explains life back in the day as freed slave. There are a few decent restaurants/ bars and a music venue/bar on N Broadway.

I really enjoyed the old antebellum vibe.

Go eat at the Pig Out Inn Barbeque downtown. Good stuff.

Also, stop at the Malt Shop for a good malt.

I did the Longwood mansion tour a few years ago with some out of town guests. If you are into history it could be fun to see. Also one of those zombie movie/shows was filmed there.
