Making a run at Sam's shortly and wanted to hear of anything that people need but someone wouldn't think of at first. Things that may run out a shelter first, etc. Realize there's a sticky but it doesn't get too much traffic and wanted to get a few quick replies here. So far I'm thinking masks and rubber gloves based on the thread. Will RA to delete after. Gracias

Pick me up a few cartoons of Marlboro lights if you don't mind. I'll drive up to SAMs and grab them in the parking lot. Need a lighter too

I'm hearing that people are really in need of storage tubs and other storage boxes to put salvageable things in as they go through their houses

Cleaning supplies are in high demand

Fast food gift cards are also a good donation for families that can't cook

We bought toiletries, toilet paper, first aid things, razors, shaving cream.

Honestly should have bought feminine products as well.

I know our donation center is saying that dry goods and canned goods are what is running super low. Basic but still that's what ours is requesting at this time.

For cleanup- LYSOL AND PINE SOL. Everything salvaged in homes smell like the homes and will track the smell everywhere. Pine sol can be used to clean/disinfect fabrics (clothes, sheets, towels).
Also bins to put salvageable things in. Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, WORK GLOVES (heavy duty for removing items)
Trash bags that don't rip like Force Flex
Ziplock gallon sized, quart sized

As for needs check any redcross site. I do know people need baby formula, phone chargers, really anything.
