That seems like a high number. When I started in the program, there wasn't really a large number of people in it. A couple hundred, if that.

Now, there's A LOT. Thankfully, I'm done next week.

Yeah, you couldn't pay me enough to go up there. Meth runs rampant, I'm sure.

Consider Houston as well. There will be a few opportunities there too. I've applied a couple places out there.

What can you tell me about it? What's a good place to live in the area?

Country club pointe apartments in south LC are 5 minutes away from a launch on big lake and 45 seconds from a boat launch on prien lake. Three bedroom house up for rent directly across from prien lake right now for $1,600/mo.

Bring a boat, and I will show you where to fish

I have a hard time believing that. I know that PTEC is getting popular, but not that popular.

The plants have just about made PTEC a necessity, if you have no plant experience. Hell, I have 10 years of pump/valve experience, but still couldn't get anywhere with that. PTEC made a huge difference in getting past the HR screening team and getting in front of people for interviews.

With that said, PTEC doesn't guarantee a damn thing. You have to interview well, and not be a screw up to get an Ops job. That prior sentence isn't always true, but for the most part it is.

?

It's a three bedroom house a few hundred yards from prein lake park and the boat launch, what do you expect?
