We are getting one in Katy. It's premise seems ridiculous to me. You buy a membership. $650-750 I believe. With that you get a year worth of haircuts, but you still pay for them at a discount?

I can't see how much just a walk in price is, and if that price is with a shave? I doubt it.

Anyone ever been and can sell it to me? I just can't understand it with the 2-3 old school barber shops we have already and Roosters a block away.

Maybe The Office in BR ruins the name for me, but it sounds like a jersey shore taper fade barber.

Ridiculous. I go to chain shops only when necessary. Even then I feel dirty.

The locally owned, independent barber shop is the way to go. Always has been, always will be.

The local, professional barber is the best. Black, white, hispanic - it doesn't matter. They are all excellent and all do a great job and it doesn't matter if they're cutting on black, white, or hispanic hair.

this is like paying a gym membership AND paying for each workout.

they must feel that the entire population is a collection of Grubers.

I don't get it. They get you a beer when you go in but damn?

700 bucks.

I do go to a Houston guy. Capone's Barber Shop near memorial city mall. Shop has been there since 1965. $16 cut. $16 shave. Simple. They even round down to $30 if you get both. It has everything the above poster said about local business. The original owner is retired but still has a chair and does few hours in the early AM. just lazy though and enjoy a 5 minute drive opposed to Houston.

$15 to shave your neck. Express haircut when you don't have much time, $40.

This place sucks and is for nothing more than pretentious turds scamming other pretentious turds out of money.

Damn. I see neck shave is separate. I assume that's only if you just need your neck knap cut off, and if you get the $40 haircut the shavette shave your neck as part of the service?

The name, the membership, the service, the prices is just the epitome of Dallas/Houston.

I bet it's located in a strip mall...sandwiched in between a Texas De Brazil and Panera Bread.

Sign me up for "The Executive" package, please! Wait, no...I want "The Chairman" package. ........

I think so. I'm a little sad, but not shocked.

Roosters is (or was) as high as I was willing to go. Used to be $25. But jumped to $28. $25 was my limit but they did a good job. And the wash after the cut was nice as you had no hair itching down your back the rest of the day, but $28 pissed me off. It was an easy $30 bill and out the door with tip.

A coffee store and empty spot so far. Panera Bread is on the other end.

It's a city center type place and not strip mall. La Cantera for people nearby who know where I am talking about.

I like this place as well, but the drive kills it for me.. And right now with all the holiday traffic around memorial city it's a shite show.

Angel at the barber shop in old Katy off of hwy 90 has been getting my business lately

I go there too. There's a guy across from Wells Fargo in old town Katy only one chair though. Very quiet place. He charges $20 I believe though. And if there are 2 guys waiting you give up because he's the ONLY barber.
