What's crazy about this girl is that her family wasn't poor. Her mom was a teacher and her dad was a warehouse foreman, she was an only child. They weren't loaded, but they definitely weren't poor. Their excuse was that they bought a pool, so that was their vacation. Because they had a pool, they could never go anywhere apparently

They were an odd bunch, glad I dodged that bullet.
