Title says it all. In this day and age I find it hard you have never travel out of your state but I assume these people are still out there.

I knew a guy that in his mid 50's had never set foot outside of the little rural county he lived in, the largest town in the county was pop. 10,000 or so. When I asked him why he just replied "what the f*** for?"

When I was handling claims after Katrina, I met lots of people that hadn't left their part of town before they evacuated. These folks were over 30.
There are probably a lot more people than you think, but you won't find them posting here

There are definitely people in this day and age, but they are probably lower income and don't post on tigerdroppings.

25 states, and 17 countries and counting. I'm only 26 and couldn't imagine still living in Louisiana. Don't get me wrong I still love and miss home.

Been to almost every state, and quite a few countries. The world is too big to only stay in one spot

One of my sister's best friends is marrying a guy that, up until dating her, had never left the city of Nashville. The guy looks like a fricking egg, and she had to force him to go to the beach with her. Sorry, but in this day and age where you can go 300 miles on a single tank of gas, you have no excuse not to leave where you grew up and explore the world.

I had a friend that served in the Army with that had never left New York City until he went to Ft Sill. Hardly left China Town; said he had never seen the Statue of Liberty.

How is that possible? All he has to do is go a fricking mile to the west side of Manhattan to see it. Chinatown isn't all that big, and I just walked it like 4 months ago.

I agree; only going by what he said. He had never driven a vehicle before either. I rode in a truck with him once, only once!

You're asking if anyone has ever just left the state for a weekend or whatever? Not just moved?

I cant imagine anyone over the age of 15 has never left the state they were born in.

Nah, opium is overrated. Found an awesome dumpling stand though.

I'd take that bet. He's almost certainly been to Florida.
