Back in July I had fraudulent payments on my card pop up somewhere in Texas. Investar's fraud dept. called and I told them it wasn't me so they cancelled the card and I had to get a new one. Yesterday the same thing happened but this time in Georgia.

Is this me using my card in a bad place and giving someone my info? I have no idea how this happened twice in the span of a couple months. Does this have something to do with Investar? It's making me want to switch banks. Someone school me on this please.

It has happened with me at Chase. There is a plethora of ways for them to get your info. As long as the bank reimburses you then I see no reason for them to lose your business.

Well, it's not the banks fault. They are going to stop believing you if you keep telling them these are fraudulent, you need to protect your shite better.

It's nothing to do with your bank. It's the places you shop, in person or online.

No matter what bank you use, you should set their respective app with an instant notification for every transaction.
