Has anyone tried these from the feet scanner at Walmart? Worth it?

No.

Go get the blue SofSole Athletic insoles from Dick's for like $20.

I know they're like $50. Pricey for some insoles. Figured I'd consult the OT.

I would have gotten those from a Mr. Scholls.

Yes. And they lasted FAR longer than orthotics given to me by my doctor.

I got generic Dr. Scholls insoles for the flat-footed (I know, I'm a freak) off of Amazon for about $20 and they've made a big difference for me. Legs used to bother me just walking long distances. No longer.

Mr. Scholls lives on the Westbank. Dr. Scholls lives in Old Metairie.

I'm a podiatrist.

They're not worth it

If you want a decent OTC orthotic Spenco is who you want

Also, do not waste money on any brands "gel" insoles. They do not provide any support and therefore do nothing. You need a more rigid orthotic with a layer of cushioning on top

I am not a podiatrist and I agree with this. I have very flat, long narrow feet and tried Dr. Scholls and they didn't provide any real comfort or support. Back in my running days I had a custom pair made by a PT and they were awesome. Probably extended my running days by 10 years.

We used Spenco as well. $25 or so at Academy or Amazon.
