By "unique", I mean not the obvious places like London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Vienna, etc.

Someplace that might not come to mind immediately, but that is well worth a long weekend.

Played with a hairy Euro girls vagina once. It was unique enough.

Not unique but do yourself a favor and go to Normandy.

Spent a week in the Hotel Zum Turken...built over the ruins of Hitler's old house in Berchtesgaden, Germany. Best ski trip ever.

Saw a lot of Norway last year. Very pretty place. If you are into nature it would be worth a long weekend

Just got back from France and my favorite part was Blois. Close second was Normandy as someone else said. Honfleur is great.

Also took a tour of Neuschwanstein Castle in southern bavaria. Very cool and a must see while in germany. Took the horse carriage ride up the mountain and get to see most of the insides. Crazy to think homeboy spent all that money on that castle and never got to live in it.

Spent a week in Monaco on a business trip.

Pretty lush there. Loved the whole Riviera.

Bordeaux, the city of wine! A young beautiful city. Bunch of frenchies at LSU told me its the best city in terms of livelihood, scenery, and air! And that Paris was dirty. Im glad I took their advice.

Capri (Italy), Rhodes (Greece), Mykonos (Greece), Lake Lucerne (Switzerland), Florence (Italy) were all outstanding.

I thought Dundee & St. Andrews Scotland were great. Would never have heard of it had we not been visiting family. If I ever moved out of the US that's where I would want to live.

You like the beach, eh?

Friend of mine is getting married alone (no wedding guests) out in Rhodes TODAY, actually.

Spent a week in Sanary-Sur-Mer. Small town on the French Rivera east of Marseille. Rented a house there and used it as a base to explore Arles, Chateauneuf-de-Pape, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence et environs. Rented a car and had a blast. I did not hear English spoken the entire time. Weather was beautiful and I'd go back in a minute.

Kiel Germany during Kieler Woche.

French Riviera - Toulon Province is much cheaper and nicer.

Southern Sweden, and anywhere in Finland are cool too.
