Anyone have the ATT unlimited choice plan

It's unlimited 3G for $65 a month. Is 3g manageable? I can't remember the last time I was on 3G and not 4g. Should I just nut up and pay for the unlimited plus? Unlimited 4g plus 10 gig hot spot for $95 a month.
Both include the access fees.
All I would use it for is to stream Apple Music. So I wanted to know if 3G would work for streaming music or would it be buffering all the time?

Yea, I know it's old school AF. But I just want to know if I can stream music in my car

That's what I have.
I changed a month ago.
I stream music from Amazon and Google Play and listen to the audio of Youtube videos ALL DAY.
You will be fine for that.
I think the deal is you won't be able to stream videos in full screen HD. But I never do that anyway, so it doesn't matter to me at all.
The SIGNAL STRENGTH isn't 3G. The SIGNAL is still LTE. It's just that they throttle your download speed back to 3G-ish, supposedly. SUPPOSEDLY. I personally feel like they're still giving me LTE speed too. It's not slow whatsoever.

I do all day. I've never even buffered.

It's not a 3G signal. It's an LTE signal. It's just supposedly throttled on the download speed, though in my experience it's not throttled much if at all.

Cool thanks, I wouldn't watch Netflix on my phone unless I was on wifi anyway. So as long as Apple Music and Spotify work then I'm happy.

You're better off going with Cricket's unlimited plan. The speeds are 8mbps instead of 3mbps with AT&T's choice plan and you can get an AT&T sim and use their network. The unlimited plan is $55 with auto pay.

Yup.
We are the target market for it. Want unlimited data to stream music and podcasts at work or in the car. Like I said, all day everyday, no buffering for me.
The more expensive one is only necessary if you watch Netflix on your phone. A lot of people do that, so there's a market for it, but it doesn't interest me.

Satellite Radio is a helluva lot cheaper

I have to have a cell phone with at least 6 gigs. And that's $80 a month. Unlimited 3G is 65. If that streams music then no, satellite isn't cheaper.

Anyone else have the choice plan?

My wife has the unlimited plan of the 4g speed. She doesn't stream video in HD, only YouTube for our daughter. And she loves instagram. Will she even notice?
If I switch to choice, can I switch back?

I switched over to it to save a little money. I'm also mostly on wifi anyway.
3G speeds are about 5 Mbps, which is still considered high speed internet.
I can watch videos and surf just fine. The only time I had noticeably slow performance was when I downloaded an app.
