I'm thinking of doing this in the backyard especially since kids and dogs track in so much dead grass, dirt, mud etc during the winter. Has anyone done it? What product did you use? Are you satisfied?

Are you going to pick up your dog's shite out of it? Honestly curious.

I seriously considered this and did a bunch of research. To get a more natural looking lawn it gets really pricey. Getting a proper subsurface and drainage are very time consuming and costly.

Dog urine, poop and wet leaves that sit too long will stain it. Basically it isn't worth it.

No. Would use the front lawn which has natural grass. But Dupont does make an artificial turf designed for K-9s.

Had the same conversation with a coworker recently, and he was mentioning a product called sports court. I've not spent any time researching it, so I don't know how legit it is or if it is even around here..... He works out of our Pittsburgh office.

Turf would look real white trashy unless you got the real expensive shite like the NFL teams use

The cheaper type looks like neon green
