I'm looking for something that will dig pretty deep into his theories. Anyone have any suggestions?
Other physics/astronomy works would be appreciated also.
ETA This article is what peaked my interest

Ah well... Luckily I won't be publishing anything in the near future

There's a book called "Ideas and Opinions" that is a collection of various writings and letters by Einstein that cover his thoughts on various issues and topics. Very good read. You should be able to get it from Amazon or Barnes and Nobles.

Cool... Thanks.
I've watched a few documentaries on him, but they focus on his life mostly. This may be just what I'm looking for.

Walter Isaacson wrote a biography of Einstein that I loved. He also wrote the biography of Steve Jobs that was the basis of the good Steve Jobs movie (not the Ashton Kutcher one)

There is a really good autobiography about him but I can't remember who wrote it. I do remember the authors name sounded Jewish

I've read both of those and absolutely loved them. Isaacson is a great biographer. I highly recommend the Einstein biography he wrote. It definitely goes into the details of his theories (in layman's terms) and also explains how he came to those conclusions.
I also read his biography of Benjamin Franklin, which was equally insightful and interesting. I have his The Innovators on my list to read soon.

Yeah I read everyone one of his books. The Innovators one is a really good read

Do you have any other favorite biographers? I am a huge fan of Ron Chernow - Titan (John D Rockefeller), Alexander Hamilton, The House of Morgan (J.P. Morgan history).
I love listening to David McCullough's hour long talks. He is a great story teller. But I've never actually read any of his biographies. I know he is considered one of the greats with John Adams, the source for the HBO mini-series, as well as Mornings on Horseback about Teddy Roosevelt.

David McCullough is the only other biographical writer I really read regardless of subject. His new Wright brothers book was great. James Andrew Miller writes great pop culture stuff if you are into that.
