I hit the stationary bike after I lift. 30 seconds high intensity 30 seconds rest/low intensity.

Airdyne Bike: 5min Warmup, Then hard for 10-20 seconds at the start of every minute, followed by moderate for rest of the minute - do this for 15min, 5min Cooldown.

I do this on my Assault Bike at home on non-lifting days.

Try tabatas. 20 seconds of all out intensity followed by 10 seconds rest. Repeat for 8 rounds.

how simple?

a really easy simple HIIT routine is to just do 100 burpees and time yourself

try to beat your time the next time you do it and so on

it will kill you

The bike is a great place for HIIT. I rode my bike on the trainer last night for an hour. Completely soaked through two towels.

Amazing results over the last few weeks too. I'd been trying to hold a certain "speed" and a certain resistance for 5 minute intervals with 3 minute rests and was really dying at the beginning. Over the past 3 weeks I've increased that to keep it for 30 minutes straight with 3 minutes rest. Time to increase the intensity again.

Only problem is I cannot stay on a stationary bike for more than an hour without losing my mind, no matter if there is a TV in front of me or whatever.
