Since I’m not going out to bars/restaurants/etc. so much I’ve been saving a ton of money while just bingeing Streaming Services, I’ve saved a TON of money... so I smartly put it to work.

I have raised my credit score by ~60-70 points since MAR.

Feels good being back in the “Good” column after an identity theft about 4-5 years ago.

I stay out of credit card debt because it’s moronic to carry.

While I agree about how moronic it is, You have to have good credit to buy anything now....

You can have good credit without carrying a balance. I have a good score and never carry a balance.

Staying out of credit card debt is exactly how you create good credit.

You came in here to brag about upgrading to a “good” credit rating...this isn’t going to go well for you.

How shitty did you handle your identity theft that you were stuck with their credit card debt? Bad troll.

Yes. In full. Every month.

Let me guess. I’m racist for being responsible...

My credit score was over 800 before Covid and is still up there. COVID has honestly not affected my family a whole lot because we didn’t do much eating out before. I love to cook so with the exception of the occasional Sullivan’s, Ruffinos, or Fleming’s outing, we mostly eat at home.

Why didn’t you dispute each knock on your credit? The credit bureaus have a limited time to respond to your contest or they have to remove it. Certainly doesn’t take 4-5 years to resolve.

Either way, glad your credit is being restored

I been saving a shite ton of money.

As a family we cut our going out to eat from 2-3 nights week to maybe 1 or 2.

I eat lunch at home.

I put gas in my truck maybe twice a month as opposed to every 5 days.

I've been working 50-56 hrs week from home.

Wife got a raise.

Savings is looking real nice.

We do have 1 CC with a small balance that is paid monthly.

Which means living in your means.

Own zero here. If I need it, I can pay cash. Been retired 10+ years and haven't touch any of my retirement monies.

I didn’t have any credit card debt or any debt at all and an 800 credit score. That gets you laid at my age.

I carry $10 every month. Otherwise I pay every single thing off.

Don't get into credit card debt after this, let that be something Covid did for you.
