acadian ambulance

Pretty much a shitty company. If you have health insurance and are in a car accident, don't expect Acadian to accept your health insurance or work with you in any way on the bill. Their collection tactics are downright brutal.

Basically, is it a good thing , worth the money , is it monthly payments , yearly ?
I'm assuming that trips to the hospital costs are 80/20 like all my tests and procedures are. I just don't know anything about it or anyone that's a member.

Looking at their website, you are simply purchasing a 30% discount and they bill your insurance and you pay the balance. Good deal if you on Medicare I guess. If healthy, why buy it? When was the last time you needed an ambalamps?

Let me see if I understand this.

You pay a yearly fee just in case you need an ambulance. If you do then you get a discount.

Screw that insurance. If I need an ambulance, I want the first one that is there it is an emergency.

I have used an ambulance one time in my life and that was only because the Dr. on scene would only let me leave by ambulance.

Never had a problem with them and in the past 4 1/2 years, I used them over 12 times. Even air lift, from home to New Orleans, about 125 miles one way. That $150 a year is cheap insurance for me.

He had no authority to enforce that, provided you are awake, alert, of sound mine and can make your own decisions. Just a FYI.
