I have been looking at some companies to work at around the area. Is anybody familiar with this company? They seem to have a good intern program.

It's a good company but they expect their interns to put out.

I know the owner and he's a Grambling fan. Doubt he'll hire a Southern grad.

I will try to apply anyway. I honestly do not know of any companies that prefer SUBR. I assumed it was just equal competition for the local companies.

I'm 99% sure you're trolling but ,either way, an engineering degree is good to have. A Southern grad won't get as much interest as a LSU grad but someone will hire you. Just keep on applying and best of luck to you.

doesn't really matter what the company is like....if you are looking for a job and they offer a job, you take it.

Especially entry level.

I had a friend I graduated with spend over a year before working, because they had this figure in their head that they were unwilling to deviate from. Experience is way more valuable than numbers starting off. If you work hard, the money will follow.

Had a few friends that worked for them. They had a keg and arcade games in the break room. The few I knew were pretty smart people. Doubt you get an offer.

You are black. I'm just gonna break it down to you as real as I can get.

Find a company that adheres to this BS system about having to hire certain groups of people.

Once you find one of those companies, you literally will get hired before most people strictly cUse of your skin color.

Other than that, private companies are gonna say F off.

Just being real
