My co-worker had it. Ended up taking one of his testicles. He is now cancer free. Said chemo was awful and he'd rather die next time than go through chemo again.

It happens in less than 5% of cases, but From what I read, it's more common in men who had undescended testicles as infants/toddlers. We briefly thought my son's testicles had rescinded, so I did a little research- then my buddy called with his news, and told me that was a problem for him when he was a baby.

One of my best friends had it. He said it started with a terrible pain in his nuts. He went to the dr and they immediately said he had cancer and wanted to remove his but that day.

He's quite a character and told he doc he needed to go home and have one more night with both balls.

The next day they removed his left testicle. That was 10 years ago and he has since made 2 kids.

Thanks for that

Good to read that testicular cancer doesn't always lead to sterility.

More than likely they took semen from him before his surgery and stored it for him until they were ready. This is typically normal protocol for anything dealing with the beans.

If it persists do not hesitate to go to the doctor. I made up many excuses to not go. Glad I did.

I have testicular cancer and going through chemo now. Had pain in one testical back in August, Dr said it was an infection and gave me antibiotics. Testical felt fine within a few days. Fast forward a few months and i have stage 3 tesicular cancer. If you have pain go to a urologist and get it checked out.

Keep fighting brother!! My doc told me it was a cyst. He is no longer my GP. I had the ultrasound then went to a urologist. He told me it was cancer and I went into surgery the next morning. The urologist told me GPs don't know shite, and they should always refer to a specialist when it deals with possible cancer.

BEST ADVICE EVER! Also, cancer will not always hurt. If you feel a lump, get checked, if you think you feel a lump, get checked

Had it 13 years ago. Had pain others have described. Went to doctor and got sent to urologist. Had a lump on lefty. Removed lefty and did three months of chemo. It had spread to my abdomen and lymph nodes.

Never looked back and have three beautiful children to show for it!

Best advice, if you have pain or a lump, get to doctor ASAP.

Great to hear man. It's refreshing to hear cancer survival stories.
