There's this strange foreign movie on Netflix where this young woman gets an anal fissure from shaving her a-hole. Then she gets sent to the hospital after it gets infected, and she passes out in class. Wetlands is the name of the movie if anyone is interested.

I have. If I had a large/hard bowel movement, it would cause bleeding. I flipped out the first time because I didn't know what was happening. I was given an ointment and it just took time to heal.

Feels like trying to pass a piece of broken glass.

Yep. Have had them off and on for years. It's not really a cut as much as it is a tear. Warm sitz baths (basically take a Long bath) help healing as does which hazel wipes. First time seeing the blood is scary. It's bright red, as opposed to dark. Bright red after a hard poo is a tell tale sign. Seeing the blood now doesn't even phase me when it occurs . Take it easy on the straining and eat right to keep your poo from getting hard.
During its hey day, One time I spread Eagle and took a look from behind in the mirror. It looked like I had a baboon's arse .

Eat fiber and use miralax. Your friend has a tear in his/her anus. An anal fissure is mistaken for a hemorrhoid about 90% of the time. Surgery may be inevitable if it doesn't heal on its own. It's not a huge deal.

Diltiazem 2% cream will heal it. Compounded .

Used to get them all the time, now my butthole is just one big callous.

Been there done that. I just used a fiber supplement until I was good to go.

I've dealt with them. Get hemmroid cream. It's embarrassing but works.
